CBG price ₹2,110 per MMBtuNew facilityGOBARdhan, the unified scheme for compressed biogas (CBG), was approved by the Union Cabinet on 6 August 2026 with an outlay of ₹23,731 crore for FY 2026-27 to FY 2035-36 and launched on 1 October 2026 with a Handbook and a Unified GOBARdhan Portal. It offers an administered CBG price of ₹2,110 per MMBtu, capital assistance and a credit guarantee for MSME projects.

Net ₹12.12 lakh crore, up 12.96%CBDT data for FY 2026-27 as on 17 September 2026 shows gross direct tax collections of ₹14,32,437.43 crore (up 15.19%), refunds of ₹2,20,026.72 crore (up 29.19%) and net collections of ₹12,12,410.71 crore (up 12.96%). Advance tax stands at ₹5,21,940.72 crore, 16.18% more than a year ago.

MPMS: ₹62,500 crore, 5 yearsNew facilityThe Ministry of Electronics and IT has notified the Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme with an outlay of ₹62,500 crore for FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31. Target Segment 1 gives manufacturers an incentive of 2.25% to 5%; Target Segment 2 gives Indian brands 5% plus 3% for Indian design and R&D. Up to 1.5% more is available for domestic sourcing of key components.

SEBISEBI to carry out about one-third as many inspections of brokers, DPs, IAs and RAs in FY 2026-27; repetitive annual inspections of compliant entities discontinued
Inspections cut to one-thirdNew facilitySEBI has adopted an enhanced approach to inspecting market intermediaries from FY 2026-27. Its targeted number of inspections of stock brokers, DPs, IAs and RAs is rationalised to approximately one-third of the previous year. Repetitive annual comprehensive inspections of compliant entities, especially QSBs, are being discontinued, and entities are shortlisted quarterly on risk parameters.

Public Notice 24/2026-27 invited TRQ applications under the India–Oman CEPA for FY 2026-27 from 4 to 19 August 2026 on 30 tariff lines, with product-specific documents for marble and PET flakes.
