What is FIEO RCMC?
FIEO RCMC is the Registration Cum Membership Certificate issued by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) — the apex body of Indian export organisations. FIEO RCMC is primarily for exporters whose products do not fall under any specific Export Promotion Council (EPC) — the “residual category”.
FIEO is also the preferred RCMC for multi-product exporters who deal in diverse product categories across multiple EPCs, or for exporters of mixed goods where a single RCMC from FIEO simplifies compliance. Additionally, service exporters in certain categories obtain FIEO RCMC.
Unlike most EPC RCMCs, FIEO RCMC is valid for 1 year and must be renewed annually. It is recognised by DGFT for all export incentive purposes including RoDTEP, advance authorisation, and duty drawback.
